MI Art is an art project brought to you by the 18-years-old New Sun Moon group, comprising of 7 education centres across Klang Valley.

Ever since MI Art was founded, we have been thriving to achieve our goals and purpose. We believe that our art-based enrichment programme is able to nurture the kids and develop their different intelligences. This is how we got our name. MI Art = Multiple Intelligences Art.

The importance of art in a child’s development is undeniable. Children naturally love art –
painting, drawing, making music and the theatre, designing project ... In MI Art, we not only cultivate children’s imaginations, so that they become more flexible and inventive thinkers, but also help to develop their physical, emotional, and mental capabilities.

 

Our monthly themed art programme as well as school holiday camps are conducted by well-trained art teachers with based on the theory of Multiple Intelligences, aiming to boost and balance the 8 different intelligences to account for a broader range of human potential in children and their holistic development. Themes will continue revolve from Food, Art & Craft, Music, Festivals, Science, Maths to General Knowledge.

By exposing children to all kinds of different axctivities and experiences, we allow them to learn and grow in their own unique way. We help children to maximize their potential by recognizing and building on their unique strengths. The nurturing care that we provide aim to help in child development which shape their capicity to learn and build a solid and broad foundation for their lifelong learning and wellbeing.

Activities tailored for growth of the intelligences are fun, interactive, and informative. MI Art students will never feel bored throughout the programme as they will be crafting, singing, dancing, presenting, observing, rationalising, calculating, comprehensing, either individually or in group, with all types of methods and materials in children art education.
